If you're going to spend $199, don't get a Ruger LCP. The only reason it isn't the worst gun ever is because Raven and Jimenez exist. Get a used anything, or the S&W M&P Shield from PSA, or even a Hi-Point with an extra mag or two.

As a proud owner of a Ruger Blackhawk and Redhawk, and having owned an LCP, I can tell you the LCP is unmitigated ultra-shit. Not in a "it's THE shit" good way, more in a "it's the shittiest gun I've ever held in my hand" sort of way.
