The NFA and the Hughes Amendment are repealed tomorrow. What is the consequence on the firearms industry? What would you do first? What would the front page of /k/ look like?
>>34318353
Convert every gun i own to full auto because the next day is when they're coming back
>Front page
>Endless sea of f/a shitpost
>Zero change otherwise
>>34318353
The only thing that changes is that "pistol" braces and lowers get melted into scrap, suppressors become cheaper, and all the faggot F/A owners kill themselves cause their 10k+ "investment" is now only 900-1500$.
>>34318392
>>34318371
>>34318353
Prices on everything go up after everyone starts selling SBRs because they're "cheaper to make" and slowly bring prices up to present standards.
>>34318353
endless threads full of people drilling holes in their AK and AR receivers, select-fire fire control groups go up in price from $25/piece to $60+/piece, limited availability in most online stores.
Threads on building suppressors, people asking about commercially available ones despite no company being able to meet demand for the next 6 months to a year.
>>34318353
>What would you do first?
Find out how I can own such items while still living in a state that has its own local laws against it.
>>34318353
Probably gonna buy a short barrel for my home defense AR.
>drop in auto sears are literally bent pieces of sheet metal
>there could be a bucket of them in every gun shop labelled "5$ each"
imagine
>unlace my shoes
>go to a local range
Lots of tube guns and full auto pistols.
>>34318551
still need the rest of the select-fire FCG stuff
>>34318557
I laughed a bit too hard at this.
>>34318353
full retard suppressed SBRs for everyone
>yfw full retard G43s for CC
>>34318421
where are people getting F/A lower parts for that cheap?
>>34318557
kek
>>34318647
>where are people getting F/A lower parts for that cheap?
AK select-fire FCGs are in every parts kit.
>>34318654
IDK why but I was thinking you said AR15s for some reason. Yeah, that's true. There's even people that throw them out whebecause they fear the ATF kicking down their door for mere possession.
>>34318353
H&K(we no longer suck and they stop hating us)sales increase a thousand fold, ARG threads on /k/ are supplanted by MP5G threads.
go right ahead and fuck myself because I live in a shitty state
>>34318353
Turn a sawn off into my car gun.
>mfw concealed carrying full auto FAL SBR formerly pistol.
>>34318353
Would you care to explain how this is happening. Cause I have not heard anything about this
>>34319376
Never will.
The NRA will never allow it. Too many rich fags have a lot of money tied up in full auto funs and they give the NRA mad dosh to make sure they stay very well regulated. after all cant have your investments loosing value because the common peons want some full autos now can you!
>>34319390
That's not what I meant. I know this. What I meant to ask is if the supreme court is going over the NFA or something?
>>34319394
The best we can hope for is for the hearing protection act to pass.
>>34319397
You're still not answering my question you mongoloid.
>>34319420
It's a hypothetical OP you mongoloid.
Mosin + vice + hacksaw
you do the math
>>34318353
>What would you do first? What would the front page of /k/ look like?
It would be full of burger shitposting like usual.
>>34318353
Pictures of trump signing it into affect. pepe memes
american flags and burgers piled a mile high with bacon
>>34318392
>The only thing that changes is that "pistol" braces and lowers get melted into scrap, suppressors become cheaper, and all the faggot F/A owners kill themselves cause their 10k+ "investment" is now only 900-1500$.
>I had a class 3 ffl guy try and tell me FA firearms are a good investment.
>All I had to say was until the registry is reopened.
>>34318353
well you didn't think this shit out before you posted.
>>34319420
do you call everyone a mongoloid?
>>34318425
Drive to a different state and buy them over the counter.
>>34319390
Might as well just off myself then
>>34319390
/k/ people don't have any sense of scale when it comes to shit like this
Let's say you own a $200,000 portfolio of FA guns, which would be a big ass collection
If you have the disposable income to put that much into a luxury item you likely have a much larger portfolio of equities, bonds, alternatives and cash that earns a 4-6% return
Let's say that cash position is replaced with FA guns, which don't appreciate all that much these days (like cash and savings accounts)
At MOST, a wise investor working with any adviser worth their shit holds MAXIMUM 4-5% cash in a large portfolio (if we're considering guns a part of this "investment" portfolio)
Meaning the rest of their portfolio is $4M (High Net Worth, lobbying grade)
Their lobbying money is going to deregulating banks and repealing dodd frank so they can turn 8-10% as opposed to 4-6% on that $2.5M, they don't give a shit (or shouldn't) about what's virtually a cash position (return wise)
There is virtually ZERO financial incentive to keep FA guns regulated, it's just basic asset allocation.
It is entirely the government bureaucracy and leftist/anti-guy lobbying that keeps the NFA in place, not the NRA you tards
>>34318606
Not for a lightning link.
>>34325560
A lightning link isn't useful to the vast majority of AR-15 owners. Have fun if you have an SP1, otherwise you're better off with a DIAS or just installing an auto sear.
>>34319420
Op was being hypothetical, mongoloid
