Idk why but recently I've wanted to get a little mouse gun in .25acp. Something tiny to hide that's more reliable than rimfire.

>>34316777
.22 lr has more killing power than .25 acp. At least use .32 acp, nothing smaller.
>>34316777
.25acp is cute CUTE!
It could work as a backup to your backup gun.
So basically carrying just for the fuck of it. Even fmj 25 doesn't pen 12 inches in gel, 32 is a much better choice. They're cool for the range and just to have in your collection
>>34316921
That is only true if the 22 is from a rifle.
>>34316777
It's a garbage round that isn't good for much of anything and costs way too much to be so close in power to 22lr that I want so bad.
Out of a pistol that size it is the same power as a 22lr but without the risk of using a rimfire round. 22 hollowpoints do not expand at velocities that low so it's better to use the 25 with that in mind. But why not a 32acp?
>>34316777
Has more potential than the outdated .22lr if ammo makers gave a damn.
>>34316777
Great caliber for its intended purpose, in my 30 years of carrying my baby browning, i had to use it in defense 3 times and almost many more. .25 acp is a great caliber within its effective and intended purposes. 2 of the times i used it, it was fatal. Never more than two or 3 shots each bout.
>>34316777
Shit.
Now I want one.
Thanks man. They don't make a comparably sized .32, do they?
I'd like something smaller than my wallet to chuck in my pocket when I go places where I can't wear the normally baggy clothing I like.

Be warned the old .32s had problems with frame cracking but supposedly the new ones fixed that.

Couldn't a double stack .25 auto be made in something about the same size as a single stack 9? but it would hold 12 rounds or something like that
>>34319202
You would be better off with the single stack 9. The only reason for using .25ACP is if you cannot or don't want to carry something bigger.

I have his big brother. Looking to buy a GT27 like the one you have soon. It was one of my first handguns I bought off some filthy tweaker back in my bad days

wew lad.
>>34319377
Yeah, its lame I know. Wife bought it for me a while back. I use it to do yard work or take pics on the internet.
>>34319348
sans?
>>34319413
Gt32 OP here...no not Sans.
>>34319387

actually being seen with that in public
kys
>>34319348
Is that a picture of the tweeker?
>>34316777
With modern tech: yes, since you can have similarly sized and lighter .32.
And .22 lr is much more reliable than 100 years ago.
Maybe if you make some sort of pocket double stack?
>>34318593
The entire point with .22LR is low cost, that's why it's rimfire, that's why it's got a heeled bullet without a jacket.
Updating it is not in anyone's interest and if you want small caliber high performance there are cartridges just for you.
>>34320753
>since you can have similarly sized and lighter .32
There's also shit like Lehigh Extreme Cavitators that make .32ACP penetrate deep enough to consistently matter, so a little Beretta Tomcat (or larger Cheetah) can actually have pretty deadly performance.

Stop speaking retardese or get off 4chan.
>giving a rats ass about what genpop thinks of you or what you do
I think he should do his yard work wearing only that mask and a speedo. Maybe one of those Arab bedsheet tunics because they're comfy.
>retarded sight
>retarded calibre
conclusion: no.
>>34320906
This also. Modern .32 can be pretty competetive.
25acp best pocket pistol round
>>34324363
Fuck that
Seecamp 32 for all your pocket gat BUG needs
>>34320872
The point of .22lr is not low cost, it was an update to the .22 long, another outdated 19th century rimfire round.
>Updating it is not in anyone's interest
True. Ditching it in favor of .25 acp would be.
>>34316777
It has more energy than .22lr in subsonic loadings and is better suited to double stack magazines. It's a shame no one makes a full-sized .25 pistol.
>>34319310
>The only reason for using [a smaller caliber] is if you cannot or don't want to carry something bigger.
No shit? I guess that's why .22 lr pistols are so popular.

like what, 25 acp?
I want one of the older .25 pocket pistols, but can't bring myself to spend more than $100 on one.
