Not excited for it, really, but it probably appeals to women a lot more than men, and might serve as a great way to get them into firearms. Also, it's small and light, maybe making it more appealing to them.
Anything that spreads knowledge and more mainstream acceptance of firearms is good. I approve

They're clearly going after the LCP, and the shape of the pistol looks like it was designed specifically for snag-free pocket carry. If it drops the striker if and only if the trigger is pulled, cycles reliably with common ammunition, doesn't break inside 1000 rounds, and groups inside of 6 inches at 10 yards (centered on point of aim), it will do its job fine. Easy breakdown would be nice, but it's not required for civilian pocket carry.

I kind of like the idea of a silicone slide overmold in lieu of serrations. I've only shot an LCP 1 in .380, but pulling the slide back was difficult due to how small the thing was in comparison to recoil spring weight. Other modern pocket pistols would likely have a similar problem.

Personally, I just want more competition in this market. I'm really not aware of anything like the LCP in the same price bracket. Granted, I'm not really that knowledgeable on pocket pistols, but I might be getting into situations where I absolutely cannot print due to significant life changes in recent months. It's also going to be wonderful shitposting fuel if it turns out alright.
