Nutnfancy started out reviewing knives back in 2008 I believe. I'm sure he was pretty much the only one doing it for quite some time.

Since then his channels has gradually become a gun channel. The problem is that his content is confused. He does a few gun reviews here and there, then he does some run n' guns but often his videos just consist of him rambling on and on while showing footage of his run n' gun or infield testing, which ends up serving simply as a backdrop to what he's saying, rather than being the focus of the video. Then there's the content of his speech. Long-winded is an understatement. I don't think there's anyone in the gun community whose vocabulary is more laden with military jargon and unnecessary acronyms. If he were being ironic it might be funny. In this case it's just tedious, and I would imagine any newcomer to his channel would find him unbearably pretentious.

MAC makes very clean, to the point videos about guns. His reliability tests on handguns are second to none.
IV8888, Hickok45, etc. all produce fine reviews of new guns or optics, etc. They are on the whole just far more entertaining than most of what Nutn produces.
InrangeTV has really interesting videos of run n' gun competitions. Also, Ian and Karl aren't as annoying as Nutnfancy.

Demo ranch had to cut back. His wife is really not happy with all the shit he does, you can tell in the videos that she doesn't want to be on camera,yet he still pushes it in her face. Also the fact his kids are growing up more and need more of his time, ontop of having a full time job too. Nutnfancy has always done EDC-styled videos. Watches are a part of EDC. He gained his fame with his 2008 knife reviews and continued growing with his gun reviews; he was one of YouTube's pioneering knife and gun reviewers. But he's really stagnated and his rambling, long videos are major turnoffs for new viewers. Every single video of his you could cut in half and not lose any valuable content.

As for him not making money, he sells patches and hats and stuff so his livelihood isn't entirely dependent on ad revenue.
