Will Trump take out the DPRK during his presidency?
Also, Nork Weapons/Equipment thread

>ywn own a nork type 49 ppsh
why even live
>>34306898
The DPRK isn't even a geopolitical threat. But if we need to gain influence or give another shot into the arm of our military industrial complex, anything's possible.
>>34307646
A total war with the DPRK would leave all of Korea in ashes taking out the 11th largest world economy in a matter of weeks. The effects would be staggering.
That's the only reason the norks are still there. Not because of China.
They have SLBMs but no Ballistic missile submarines....
>>34307537
is...is that a top feed rpk?
Nah, they have nukes. Most likely they'll get left alone until their nation collapses just like USSR. And the last communist domino falls, only to be replace by "democratic socialism".
>>34307953
Think it's just a polished up BREN
>>34306898
Nah, leverage against China.
>>34307749
Does China even like North Korea anymore?
>>34308089
Not really but they can by used as a pawn. Also, if a war starts most nork refugees will go north into China. Double the amount of Syrian refugees.
>>34306898
unlikely that a war starts in the next 3 years imo, nobody wants to be bush 3.0
>>34307537
Is that thing hard chromed AND engraved?

>Will Trump take out the DPRK during his presidency?
Reminder that Best Korea is the natural reserve where live the unmodified Korean qts.
For the sake of science leave them alone.

Those are some interesting mags.

Grorius reader wirr not be preased. Gurag is awaiting you, you imperiaristic spy
>>34306898
No, at this point all we can do now is contain. they're going to get missiles and smaller nukes but they'll never get parity (which makes them good for defensive, but not really offensive).
No. China doesnt want it because then they have southkorea (american pawn) right at their border. Southkorea and the world economy dont want it because boosting Nkorea up to modern standards would bankrupt southkorea. And with that the economy will slip into a second slump. America does not want it since it gives them a great excuse to keep an army parked near china

Only if he succeds in actually taking control over the military & security establishment. Currently he doesn't control them and can't be sure if they will even do their job or if some elements will fail it in purpose to turn it into a blander.

>suggesting the military would fail on purpose
>unless the President 'controls' them
Ya know if there's one thing the Military is good at, it's doing their job with a minimum of political bullshit and game-playing. They wouldn't deliberately fuck up just to make Trump look bad, and you should feel embarrassed that you even suggested it. And while the President controls the military, if it came down to a choice between siding with the President, and the American people, for some reason, they wouldn't side with the President. The kind of control you're talking about, where they'll do anything he says, is not something for America, but some 3rd world dictatorial shithole. And if he were to try to get that kind of control, we'd end up seeing Mattis execute him on the Whitehouse lawn (which would be awesome!).
Otherwise they're perfectly willing and able to follow any lawful order given to them. And if they listened to Obama with a minimal fuss, they're hardly going to do anything to sabotage Trump.

It's enough for few people to leak some stuff and that's it. Tou don't need everyone. If you haven't noticed that this already happens than you suffer from the american exclusivity complex.
>>34308089
Nah, not really. Last and this year they've grown extremely annoyed by them as well.
I'm pretty sure China would participate in a war against them
>>34310559
jesus christ.
Nobody should want the POTUS to have absolute control over the military, especially if the POTUS is an orange child barely able of going 2 days without contradicting himself.
>>34310713
>implying it's the military leaking stuff
>implying many of the leaks aren't from within his own White House
>implying they aren't informing us of a lot of shady shit going on
Whine about leaks all you want, but noone complained when it was Shillary's dirty laundry getting aired.
>>34310744
Seriously. The leaks are a good thing.
Anyone in their right mind sees that the Trump administration is nonfunctional except for Mattis.
>>34310724
This. Fucking this.

I have a family member that is a Army Major Pacific theater intelligence, I had lunch with him before he left Leavenworth on his way to Washington, then Seoul
While he wouldn't confirm anything I did get the jist war with Best Korea was on the horizon
Most of the anons here assumed like I did that it would be a very quick campaign
I mentioned as much to him and he told me the opposite was true.
He told me since our last conflict with them they have been busy bees tunneling
OVER 50 YEAR OF UNDERGROUND TUNNELS AND STRUCTURES....
Inevitable War: mostly likely
>Quick: not a chance

>>34312509
Well we probed we can fuck up underground tunnels with the MOAB in the middle east, dunno how that would play out in a war with the norks though, but it's something to consider
>>34312509
That and norks will be fighting like japs did in ww2

>MANPADS mounted on the tank.
That actually seems like a good idea. Why don't other countries do that.
