Some sort of pickup truck with a 50 cal as well as a couple of recoilless rifles or TOWs would be the best, imo. The 50cal can work effectively for both anti-infantry as well as dealing with other technicals and most buildings, and the recoilless rifles/TOWs will be good for dealing with stronger buildings or a more heavily armored vehicle.

It's basically the American Hilux, yes. It's based off the 4Runner platform, is a bit more comfortable, but it just as well known for reliability. They regularly hit 300k miles (482k km) and still have life left in them.

Hard plastic all over the doors leaves no real comfortable place to rest arms. Backseat is really upright with no way to recline. The driver is in pretty good shape, however the traction control is very buggy and often times when accelerating from a stop the car will pause for a few seconds before responding. Now correct me if I'm wrong here but the 4runner started back before the Tacoma was even a thing, it was based off of the Hilux, the only reason why there was a split for the Tacoma/Hilux was because the Taco was built in the US to avoid the chicken tax, post 1997 they even had versions that used the same engine for the 4 and 6 cylinder versions, other than the body they're about the same thing.
