Man Carrying Air-Soft Rifle Taken Into Custody

On June 14, 2017, officers were dispatched to Hopkins Plaza near Pratt Street for an armed person wearing camouflage, armed with a rifle.

Downtown Foot-Patrol officers patrolling the area responded and encountered a man fitting the suspect's description, armed with a rifle.

Officers engaged the suspect and took him into custody. The officers determined that the weapon was an Air Soft rifle and the suspect was experiencing a mental health crisis.

Citizens told officers that they heard the suspect make statements about shooting people.

The 23 year-old male was transported to an area hospital to under-go a psychiatric evaluation.

On June 13, Southern District police arrested 21 year-old Donte Kent in Baltimore he 1100 block of James Street after a car stop.

Inside of Kent's vehicle, police discovered and seized a loaded semi-automatic handgun, pellet gun and narcotics.

Donte Kent was transported to Central Booking Intake Facility where he was formally charged.

On June 10, 2017, at approximately 10:45pm, officers were conducting an investigation in the 1100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

During their investigation, officers found a 17-year old male who was armed with a gun. Officers recovered a loaded handgun and the male was arrested at the scene.

The suspect has been identified as 17-year old Darrin Moore of the 1200 block of Martin Court. Moore was charged as an adult and transported to the Central Booking and Intake Facility.

Man Arrested, Charged with Possession of Rifle

After receiving information about possible narcotic activity being conducted out of a home in the 500 block of E. 22nd Street, Northern District Operations Units launched an investigation into these claims.

Probable cause was gotten and a search and seizure warrant was obtained.

On May 24, 2017 at approximately 4:30 a.m., members of the Northern District Operations Unit along with SWAT’s A Platoon executed a search and seizure warrant at the home in question.

Upon searching the dwelling, detectives recovered a loaded assault rifle and narcotic packaging material. All seized property was submitted at the evidence control section as evidence.

Detectives arrested 28 year-old Damion Robinson who lives at the location. Robinson who is prohibited from possessing firearms was taken to Central Booking and has been charged with Firearms Violations.

Currently Damion Robinson is waiting to see a court commissioner.

On May 18, 2017 at approximately 7:14 a.m., Eastern District Operations detectives executed a search and seizure warrant in the 800 block of North Curley Street.

This investigation led to the arrest of 29 year-old Mitchell O'Berry of the 800 block of Curley Street.

Detectives seized six guns, suspects drugs and packaging material along with various ammunition, from the location.

Mitchell O'Berry, who is prohibited from possessing a firearm due to previous convictions, was transported to Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been charged with possession of a rifle, firearm and drug trafficking, drug possession with intent to distribute, detached magazine over 10 rounds, stolen firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Yeah just be careful, Aluminum cases can often 'weak spots' in them. So what happens if when you fire, that weak spot ruptures and starts spewing hot gas into your barrel chamber, effectively acting a blow torch to the inside of your barrel hood. Shoot enough of them and you'll start seeing scoring inside your barrel hood.

A poor MP40 was found by police in North South Wales Australia.

"Police have seized a submachine gun after stopping a car on the Central Coast last night.

Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Command stopped a Holden Commodore on Oakland Avenue, The Entrance, about 7.40pm (Sunday 18 June 2017) and searched the vehicle.

A bag containing an MP40 submachine gun with a missing barrel, a firearm magazine and 60 rounds of various ammunition was seized.

Initial examination of the firearm suggests it is in working order.

A 40-year-old man who was a passenger in the car was arrested and taken to Wyong Police Station.

He was charged with possessing a prohibited firearm and possessing ammunition without a permit and refused bail to appear at Wyong Local Court today (Monday 19 June 2017).

The firearm will undergo forensic examination to determine if it can be linked to any shooting incidents.

actually turns out the shooter was a 73 year old former cop who shot the kid when he and his friends tried to rob him at gun point. Kinda BS that only former cops and other ppl like that can carry in Maryland.
Upon arrival, officers located a 13 year-old male who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. That individual (suspect) was transported to Shock Trauma and is currently listed in critical condition.
