It doesn't. Mechanically speaking this gun doesn't perform any better than any other gun. However, for you it worked out and that's fine. People like different features. I shot an XDm for several yours in competition and it was fine gun.

THe problem with you and most gun owners is you don't think about why you like a gun, so you confuse minor ergonomic changes with a gun being objectively better. If you were a more serious shooter would get it, but most shooters don't.

The XDm just has different ergonomics and a better barrel. Other than that it's an XD. I believe the XDm also comes with a bit more gun swag.

I personally like the XDm but it's by no means the end all be all of guns.

HS2000 is sort of dookey though. The grip sucked so bad I wanted a Glock, price makes me laugh.

I like the XDM. It was my first pistol, but it's just another striker fired pistol. Shoots well, reliable, and I like the way it feels in my hand
