Bull shit. Have you ever been to a gun show? Every single one that I have been to is basically the local gun shops getting together at one place, with a few others trying to sell their wares. Most people don't want to spend a whole weekend to sit at a table and try and pawn/trade their guns, its much better to buy an admission ticket to a show and shop around the gun shop booths to see who will buy your gun for the best price. And that is what most people do.
