Ive considered it, with this specific pack though I can not remove the straps, and I prefer them to be separate so i can remove the pack if I want to. The two shoulder straps are quite thin anyway, so It really doesn't cause any problems.

>>34286067
They are not the same chest rig, but they are the same company (Mayflower)
>>
>>34286067
M225s is the Mayflower genIV and mine is the Mayflower 7.62 hybrid. The difference is only in the pouch configuration. The stitching on mine looks good and has held up well.

Nice. You could all ways get the extra snap connectors shown on the rig and attach them shoulder height in conjunction with the packs straps. Maybe the middle pack at most weight wise. Do like the color uniformity.

Stretch panels are nice and placed in good positions, G1000 fabric is on the heavier side of things but if it gets hot out you can open up the side vents zippers and get some venting, the pants are designed well with thought put into placement of pockets and attachment points, while snug the belt loops will fit a 1.25" belt (no larger belts).

They are overseas produced and if you are anywhere near an actual Fjallraven store you can save $$$$ by buying them locally.

The pattern is called MM-14 and it's a darker, more misshapen UCP used by the Ukrainian military, though it's eventually going to be fully phased out for Varan. You can find it on P1G-TAC's website; they make the military uniforms.

>>34285611
That's a completely different camouflage that doesn't really have any commercial name. Not only that, but as far as I can tell that uniform was a prototype because the actual shit the border guards are given has a brighter grey and green in the pattern. It's also got a weird diagonal shape when seen from afar.

There is, however, a /rarer/ version of that which is blue that was handed out during the 2014-15 winter that was dropped pretty quickly because the quality of the uniform itself was poor; it was blue-gray, which was neat, but stupid.

>>
>>34293594
>tfw ranger green looks almost the same as mas grey
>>
>>34293612
they kind of aren't that similar if you hold them side by side, it's just that both colors vary a lot under different lighting conditions so MAS grey on a bright day looks like RG on an overcast day, etc.

also mas grey is a meme because you pay seel prices for the real shit
>>
>>34291308
Just the one.
>shutters
Just the one...
>>
also ranger green looks darker and grayer when faded, and there's been a lot of variation in RG color across different manufacturers and even different runs from the same companies.
>>
>>34293651
nah m8 you gotta get on those LBT sales. I wish MAS was a bit more popular, I cant stand that wolf grey so many brands have, its far too light for my liking. I used to have wolf grey banshee and I hated it.
>>
>>34293678
i have been on the LBT sale grind, got a MAS grey pack a while back. the thing is I really don't trust LBT stitching anymore. my most recent stuff from them has godawful loose threads fucking everywhere
>>
>>34293705
Really? Thats disappointing. I replaced said Banshee with a MAS 6094 and the stitching is leagues better. I think Banshees were a bit overhyped when they were popular but that's a different story.

NOPE NOPE NOPE

I own a pair and let me tell you; a roofing nail sailed right through them, laces snapped (palladium wont sell you replacements) and the quality is mid tier at best. The sole isnt too rigid so they bend around p easy. I could see them being useful for desert or light urban shit but never innawoods/rocks/debris.

If you want a cheap sample try some PLA liberation shoes (high cut) since they are the same shit and ching chong prices.

HAHAHA the same fucking thing was happening to me.

LAPG STS pants are doing pretty good so far. Hiked about 10 miles in them earlier last week, wore them to work 2 days, and took them shooting this past weekend. Relatively breathable (Hiking in 80 degree weather was pretty bearable with them tucked into boots and with knee pad inserts in). Rip stop fabric seems decent enough. The material quality is good enough, and the design/fit is pretty solid. Construction is durable it seems, but the "craftsmanship" leaves a bit to be desired. Fine for $35 pants. Little bit of water resistance. The butt is almost entirely stretch panel though so the verdict is still out on how that will hold up.

If they came in camo patterns I wouldn't hesitate to pick another pair up.

34x34" Sierra color in picture with Tru-Spec knee pad inserts installed. A2Grip's SPAS-12

Mbav isn't full cut?

I don't think vs is either?

I already have regular full cut IIIa. I need a slick carrier I can just shove that and plates into.

>go to order this belt
>order a small based on their size chart
>they immediately email me telling me im too fat for a small and no one actually is a size small
>make me change my order to medium
wtf

Whats your waist? They are probably helping you. Although I dont know that they are that aggressive in the email. They emailed me nicely to confirm that I would like a small belt, I responded yes, and I still got my small belt. Your probably safer to get a medium though.

Eh, the small works for me. I float between 28-30, you can see in the picture that I have about 4 more inches left on the belt to adjust.Obviously youd have to get it stitched though, if you had it get really close to prevent it from just coming undone. Its for that reason Id say probably just go with the medium. But either way you could make it work. For me right now it works fine. If I went up to like a 32, Id probably hve to adjust it almost all the way, and then get it sewed.

All Comtac/Sordin owners should do themselves a favor and throw their foam ear cups into the nearest hobo burn barrel and buy gel cups instead.
