New Haven .410

I want them to be able to use it for deer one day.
>>
Come on you fuc/k/s. What are your thoughts?

410, quit being a stingy moneygrubbing attention whore
>>
>>34284628
Just start her on a 12. The kick is nothing if using proper technique. I got a little grill, assume yours is also skin and bones. She has to seat it in her shoulder properly.
>>
>>34284628
Where i live, kids usually start with O/U .20 or .28 gauge, but usually for skeet and small game.
>>
>>34284647
>>34285410
>I don't want to buy her more than one shotgun in her whole lifetime

How about you stop being on welfare and get a decent job first
>>
>>34284635
.410 is a stupid caliber, completely useless. She should be able to handle 20 gauge easy.
>>
>>34284628
Ati calvary 28ga. O/U or browning micro Midas.

The 28ga is the way to go. It has the same shot pattern as a 12ga, but has very little recoil and is a great training gage.
>>
>>34286007
The ati will run you $600-800 im 28 ga , andnyou can get a combo set of .410 and 28gage.

The browning micro midas in .20gage in a o/u will run $1600

Can never go wrong with a rem 870

Why not get her a single shot 12 gauge with adapters?
>>
>>34285522
I never said I wouldn't buy her another. I just don't want to buy more than one starter shotgun. Eventually her sister will inherit it, and possibly a baby brother will too.

I also hate having more than one type of ammo. All my pistols are 9mm and revolvers are .357. I would really love to just have 12g shotguns. But I want my kids to enjoy shooting not get injured everytime they shoot.
>>
>>34287768
Your an idiot if you dont get a 28gage.

It is the best solution for what you want. A sporting shot gun for new shooters.
It patterns like a 12 gage, so when they are ready they will not have a difficult transition.

If you want them to enjoy shooting, a 12gage is a fucking stupid place to start for a 12year old , of any sex.
>>
>>34287830
>>34287768

I am still suggesting single shot 12 gauge. Just buy the 9mm and .357 adapters and now you have a single shot everything. It will be lighter because of the type. They will need to get used to the kick sooner or later. 20 gauge at the min but try the 12 first, ease back if needed.

Costs around $100-150 new. Barrel adapters extra but worth it in a bad situation to have.
>>
>>34285470
>.20 or .28 gauge
This is wrong.

>gage
This is also wrong.
Stop being wrong nigger.
>>
>>34284628
A 12 gauge. Low pressure target loads are easy to get and brings you low recoil for a new shooter. A Savage Stevens 301 and ammo can be had for less then $200 and is a hell of a lot of fun for a kid.
>>
>>34288008
Really solid build quality at the price. If your daughter is slightly built you might want to just go with a 20 in the 22" barrel, as there are plenty of 20 gauge loads able to kill a buck.
>>
>>34284628
10 gauge. Teach her to be tough.
>>
If it was one kid, I'd say any 12 ga modern pump with a good pad. They should be able to grow into it by 14 yrs old. You've got 3. Get a used O/U 20 ga. When daughter #1 outgrows it, daughter #2 can ale over. Was, rinse and repeat with son.

Maybe you'd get some use out of a pistol caliber carbine as a training firearm while they're waiting to grow into the 20 ga.
>>
20 is fine, buckshot loads are still 5-8 pellets and strong. Mossberg has the largest selection of youth models, should be very easy to find used.

i'd err on the 20 side for a youth gun. it'll do everything from skeet to rabbits to pheasants to deer with the right loads and the recoil will be easier for a beginning shooter.

once she grows up and is ready for a full-sized gun, then drop some good money on a decent 12 gauge
>>
>>34285920
.410 is a great close-range rabbit/dove slayer
>>
>>34284628
11 is too young
you wouldnt let an 11 year old girl suck her boyfriend off why the fuck would you give them a shotgun
>>
>>34287016
the problem with these quick-change caliber kind of guns is that you're probably going to use 2 out of the 11 calibers they make. getting one purpose-built gun is a better buy than getting an 11-in-1 system. you'll also run into problems where you might forget what caliber you have installed and fuck up your gun
>>

>you wouldnt let an 11 year old girl suck her boyfriend
I see this is your first day on 4chan.
