Back pre-sandy hook when things weren't so trite and derivative, threads would occasionally segway into people doing spontaneous random things that others would find amusing and would be absorbed into the board culture. You know, bolt-in-asshole, having sex with coyotes, etc. You might say, "but people still do those things?" and they do, but that's now just done as a cynical attempt at getting many epic (you)s and establishing a lolsorandumb e-persona, often as a trip or namefag. Its the spirit behind it that has changed.
