So, /k/, I've had a 6mm creedmoor precision rifle for some time now since they came out and it's pretty cool. I don't really mind the trouble ordering the ammo but have been thinking in depth about if it will ever pick up in popularity like the 6.5 cdmr has. Personally, I really don't think many will care much for the difference in a 1:7.7" twist vs 1:8" twist the 6.5 has. Yet, now that Hornady has begun to make the precision hunter round and more rifles, such as the ruger American and precision rifles, in 6mm creedmoor. Is this a sign that it's here to stay and will begin to grow in popularity?
Shameless self bump

just get a .308

What I would get from a 6mm creedmoor that somehow the loose twist just works for the bullet and that is meant to have better barrel life. However 6.5 creedmoor already got surpassed by Grendel so I'm hoping that 6mm will, or in this case be the next .243 win. The problem is nobody else caught on yet.

6.5cr is supposed to be hard on barrels

Someone tell me, how does 6,5x55 stack up?
