40SW is fine it's just expensive as fuck. I don't even shoot my 40 anymore, 9mm is just too cheap. I can literally shoot 2x as much 9mm for the price when buying locally. 40SW costs the same as 45, that's insane.

If ballistic gelatin is a poor way to compare bullet performance from one to another in a controlled setting, seeing which one "explodes the oranges the most" is worse.
