Fuck Smith and Wesson. I've owned 2 of their revolvers and both of them didn't function as intended. My 629 wasn't timed right and sheared copper off the side of the bullet, sending it flying randomly out of the cylinder gap like a frisbee. My buddy, standing behind me, caught a piece with his face that made him bleed and then it embedded another piece in my thumb. Then I stupidly bought a 642 for my mother. Went to make sure the thing worked and it gave me 5 light primer strikes within the first 25 rounds.

S&W did a run of Model 36 for the Japan National Police Agency a while ago, with no locks and no MIM, and sold off the contract overrun in the US. Probably the last good revolvers they made.
