The British Terrier Armoured Digger. Lightweight, fast as buggery and with an incredibly wide array of attachments. Its like a multi-tool in the form of an armored vehicle.
I dont know why people that want dont have a job but have some tiny amounts of money left dont just buy such equipment and do jobs with it.
That digger thing in op's pic is far cheaper than any other non military digger yet its built to survive and is probably fun to operate
Here is some shit i dont know what for
this thing has a t72 body
they built them on any other tanks body as well

Here, as a cursory bump, have the Terrier's bigger brother - the Trojan.

That thing is incredibly cool.
I do believe that the US has an explosive trench-digger but it may just be for creating tank obstacles - I can't find anything on google about it.
Very Soviet - occupy position and fortify it ASAP.

I rented a trencher to install my sprinker system this spring.
How does this thing compare? Think it's better than the one I used?

That looks more like a Leo 1 body.
Are my eyes playing tricks on me?

Fascine - WW1 technology, just with a bit of a modern twist. Allows Tanks/AFVs to cross sharp, deep obstacles to establish a beachhead and allow a more permanent solution to be constructed.
I believe they were used in Iraq in '03 to cross the anti-tank ditches that the Iraqi's thought would hold up coalition forces for days whilst they built bridges.
IDF D9
These things are monstrous, speaking from experience.

>In April 1968, the engineers finally handed the two vehicles back with a list of suggested improvements, another operational review noted. The soldiers proposed a vehicle with 12-pointed, multi-section wheels that would have less trouble navigating uneven paths.
>A lower profile frame would make the new Tree Crusher harder to hit. An air-cooled engine and rearranged wiring could prevent breakdowns.
>Most importantly, the troops wanted an armored turret on top with a .50-caliber machine gun. Claymore mines strapped to the sides would blast a hail of steel balls to brush off guerrillas during any ambushes.
