dont go for paintball. I live in a noguns country too, however, "sour guns" are totally legal and designated for homedefense. They have gas patrins and huge rubber balls loaded and are more than enough to scare off somebody. If you are lucky you even can find special bullets with capsaitine or something.

OP if you really want to do this and I highly suggest you don't you need the following; A marker with an agitated hopper, some sort of E-trigger/response trigger, an on/off valve, either adjust or remove the velocity adjuster, and last but not least you need rubber balls. Congrats you've just built a riot gun.

If you really want to do this I highly suggest picking up a tippmann A5 already set up for riot control or modify it to those specs
