I got a Soviet paratroopers jacket of the same build. It is thick as fuck and very soft and well built, so no doubt that it is a good jacket. But it came to me smelling like death, a smell that persists today. It is heavy and thick and is less than practical to wear unless you just want to collect. I have worn mine in some of the rougher snow and it is perfect. Mobility is limited, but it is so warm like wearing a whole sheep.

For that price with the pants, do it.

Bought one last winter. It keeps ya very warn and even has a pocket for a makarov. But it took like 2 months to get to me and came in a potato sack.
