Why aren't there more take down guns, /k/? Shotguns in particular. The ability to store a long gun in a smaller form for easy carry seems like something that should be immensely desirable.

Cost of tooling and manufacture+ lack of consumer demand.

They seem very cool and desirable, but in practice aren't really all that useful and are more expensive to make.

I've wondered that myself. It's kind of weird how take-down guns in general have kind of waned over the years. You'd think with all the assault weapon bans there'd be a resurgence.
