It's a well-made G3 clone. Mine eats everything from Tula to professional handloads just fine, and you can reach out and touch someone with just the irons easy at 200-ish meters if your hand is steady or you have a rest. Some good glass will really extend the range. The retracting stock is mildly uncomfortable to shoot with, but not enough for me to replace it. Can run dry if needed. Fucker is heavy, but the weight and the delayed roller blowback action tame .308's recoil very nicely.

8/10 I would rely on it in a life or death situation.

What a stupid idea you have about the civil war. The north had plantations to, you know. Sure, the SLAVES got paid, but they were not free to leave, and lynching black people hadn't gone out of style up until tge late 80's, early 90's.

Lincoln's whole "abolish slavery" deal was a way to get everyone he needed on his side. Tge war was really fought because Congress had become a warzone in itself, and the South thought that D.C had become King George 2.0. But I digress, as the victors wrote history, no? Even then, the north still agreed that it was ALOT more than about slavery. It was just an Idea that had come upon it's time, and the civil war was a catalyst.

My handgun is a simple EAA witness, chosen for cost alone. A spaghetti flavored CZ-75, it performs adequately inasmuch as an inadequate weapon can.

In all honesty, if war were to break out here, my weapon would be the forge, the cast and the lathe. It would not take much in this area to setup an AR producing machine shop, given the industrial proclivities and large tracts of land here. I could arm whoever would fight for peace.

A second civil war would be extremely brutal. All opposition & supporters would be targets. You'd have to strike so much fear in even the lowest level cogs that they'd refuse to leave their homes or go to work. If somebody gives information to the opposition car bomb them if a dude writes paychecks for the other side shoot him on his front lawn. You'd have to be willing to adopt the tactics of groups like the Mujahedeen & IRA. it would be a barbaric war more so than anything seen in a long time & I doubt the left could stomach the magnitude of violence required.
