That does look cool...I am watching now. The tunable trigger I was specifically referencing was a Jard trigger I already own...This one pictured:

It is a funky trigger I bought years ago and never really played with until recently. (Single stage bottom adjiust) It breaks at about 1 3/4lbs currently. The set-screw in the front is to adjust over-travel, the set screw in the rear is for contact with the safety, and you can also adjust sear-engagement via set screw in pistol-grip and adjust the disconnect. So a totally tunable trigger. It's a bit putzy to tune but when you got it set-up this thing is wicked.

Fair enough. Frankly I only bought it because the Timney I wanted was not in stock at the time and I wanted it to work in a 15/22 with a slidefire for shits and gigs. I had to run a hotter round and a lighter trigger...with the goal being reliable pewpewpew dumps with bulk 36gr because I was sick of spending so much on hyper velocity/stingers/etc. This light trigger dumps 100% no problem but because the 15/22 is polymer frame I ran into other problems and eventually yanked the trigger but now it is in my St AR-15 and this trigger is crazy light but I do like the fact I can adjust it.

I have rifles with G, MBT, high end single stage triggers. They all work, they are all nice. I've use Jard before, and adjusting it can be fun, but too light can be an issue. I didn't like the jard tuned to 2.5#, at 3.5# I was less concerned

I wanted something to run with a slidefire that was designed for .223/5.56 and I was running it on a .22 so I wanted light as I was sick of spending so much on Stingers/hypervelocity 31gr Federal just to magdump for grins...really that was the only reason I went so light. Having said that I do think it is nice...definitely takes some getting used to when coming from a 3.5lb/4.5lb/5.5lb/etc. dare I say it might be a little too light lol but fuck it I already own it and installed it I am going to run it for a while at least...might do a trigger job on a NiB trigger I initially got. Not sure we'll see

Flash can does fuck all to mitigate felt recoil, blast, and flash. It is better than a fucking muzzle brake or compensator, but damn it isn't much better than a bare muzzle. Plus it is long as hell which defeats the purpose of the short weapon to begin with.

You are in luck I remembered you had asked when checking out my boys rifle with a standard extension/spring. The UCIW is very slightly more resistant that the standard carbine spring, but not so much I'd think I would notice without having the two rifles side by side.

its a stock bushmaster, after about 100 rounds they start to push out, the first time i shot it i was about 170 rounds into shooting before i was unable to pull the trigger. didnt find out it was the pins untill i got home and looked it over.

Get the KNS pins. They hurt nothing and eliminate a potential problem. The .154 diameter of the pin hole can grow over time from use. I can't think of a downside to having them...unless you use them on a polymer receiver then if you over-tighten them they can bind the trigger a bit and increase pull weight...along with bend the dogbone.
