Friendly reminder that dumping money into aftermarket parts like triggers, match grade barrels, gucci shit will not make you into a better shooter.
You cannot buy skill. Money is better spent on range fees, classes and ammunition. There are people who can run circles around novices that took out a loan for a ZEV'd out Glock 19 with an OEM Glock or a near stock Glock with an 8lb NY trigger.
Stop buying useless shit. Buy a pro-timer, Google drills whether you want pistol, shotgun or rifle drills and work on them. Keep track of your score and time, it will be more enjoyable and rewarding than binge buying shit off Brownells or Midway in your underwear at 4am.
This isn't a smack at upgrading your guns with aftermarket parts. Just understand that you should be able to identify the context behind certain upgrades before you buy them. A Geissele SSA trigger will not magically transform you into an amazingly good rifle shooter. A $60 Appleseed rifle marksmanship class will do you more good more than a $250 trigger. Save that for when you get to a higher level of proficiency.

No, it makes your gun a better shooter. That's the point.

You can buy better guns.

What if I like nice things and think classes are for autistic man children who like playing make-believe with their guns?

A shit trigger and barrel won't tell you if you are proficient if they aren't capable of holding a good group.
>the technology necessary to operate a program is less important than the program itself
stopped reading your faggy post before the first sentence. sage
Not everyone has a place where they can run drills or shoot. That's what you trainingfags don't seem to understand. You think everyone has access to land, everyone has a very nice range with tactical shooting bays or allows that kind of shooting.
The majority of shooters are stuck on a square range, standing still, shooting at 25-100 yards and a single big bullseye target. Can't do holster work, can't practice reloads or set up multiple targets, can't rapid fire, etc.

So are you saying I should enter the tour de france on a kids tricycle from walmart, just as long as I practice enough on it? good advice op

Classes are for getting information such as learning techniques. It is then up to you to apply those techniques to your shooting regiment and that's when you improve.
>he is unironically assuming a class will make you better in the two days you're in it

Who said anything about any of that? You don't need rapid fire to improve on accuracy. There is plenty you can do even in a restrictive range like that. A drill doesn't neccesitate a shot timer or rapid fire, shooting from low ready at a 3x5 card or using B8 bullseyes at 25 yards along with shooting with only your dominant and non dominant hand can be done at any range. Quit making excuses, scrublord.
