Question: I carry a CZ P-01, what grain would be better for carry? 124 or 147? Going to get Federal HST because that's what I carry in my .45's and it seems like smooth, great ammo.

Oh it's a blast man, eats up whatever you throw in it, accurate( with a red dot anyway) I like irons but didn't care much for the ones it ships with. The KAK blade now that you can shoulder them works awesome, did a cheap trigger job on it too, just swapped a couple spring really, all in all I give it 9/10 sqautting slavs

I don't know what it is, but I'm pretty sure I want a P-07. Can anyone tell me their experiences with it? I've owned and carried a PCR and G19 for reference. I carry a PPS nkw, and would only carry the P-07 OWB in the winter.

They're super solid guns and if you want a polymer hammer fired gat, its a great option.

I own a P-09, P-07, P-01, P-10C, and now this SP-01.

The P-09 is great and has some weight benefits for being a polymer framed gun, but its hard to pick a favorite between the SP-01 and P-09.

If you're going to have just one full sized handgun, I'd say SP-01. Mags are more readily available for less cheddar and the added weight makes it easier to shoot.

Nope. The P-10C would fit, but the P-07 is a little too tall in the slide/dust cover profile to fit in those holsters really.

Black Dog Concealment makes a pretty decent AIWB rig for like $45 I'd recommend with confidence to ya.

I got mine for $505 before tax from a local shop. Was totally worth it and one of the better deals on an urban grey model I had seen.

That's a good color to describe it - its a nice mix of grey and FDE.

no pics of it in good daylight at the moment, sorry. It's not much different than how it looks in my photos though.

I got it today so i don't have much info for you, but i swapped out the wide tabs for the stingray clip. It let me do small of back in the 5 o'clock position while concealing well with jeans and slim fit style short sleeved button up shirt. I figure the wide tab style clips will come in handy when i have to tuck a shirt in over the gun.

Update on the holster setup. I find the best way to use this is as a small of back holster around the 4:30 to 5 O'clock position with the clips adjusted to maximize the cant. It lays flush against my back with this setup and the grip is tilted towards my right hip for easy drawing. Concealability is excellent with me being able to wear the smaller t shirts, and slim fit button downs/Hawaiians that I prefer, with no obvious bulk under the shirt or the ass of my jeans. This is great since I live in Arizona and the heat makes it difficult for any cover garments to be worn with out you dying of heat stroke, or everyone knowing you're hiding shit under there. The IWB mag pouch I ordered came as well, it seems to work well and is a good fit for the mags. All of the items are tuckable and it can work tucked but I will have to get a belt that matches the black clips for it not to be a give away.

We had a customer come in with a CZ 75 Sport II (high end competition model with a custom 6" barrel and slide made by another company) and showed us this.
After questioning how the fuck he did that, he casually mentionend that he cleaned it after every range trip (competition shooter, several times a week) with A FUCKING STEEL BRUSH.

This motherfucker would apparently sit on his couch and would continually scrub the barrel in & out while watching TV.
For hours on end.
Several times a week.
Over the course of several years.

He didn't know you're not supposed to do that.

I'm not bashing CZ. I have a 75 and Kadet myself that I'm very happy with.

The barrel was made by Lothar Walther, so not some cheap trash.

I messed mine up like that. I drilled slightly off center and kind of fused the collar and screw together. Of course, the only option left was to keep going. It worked out ok.
I saw a post on cz boards about using a small bit and drilling the head of the screw off from the trigger guard side. It did seem easier fwiw.

OP here - I copped some Pachmayr G10 grips from Amazon for cheap.

They're a good alternative to VZ for well over half the cost. 10/10 would recommend
