the guy carrying it can be seen in this video between 1:24 and 1:34
to me the gun looks like an unfinished 3d model or some gun that was only made one prototype of so nobody would know it existed anyways (except Ian maybe) so naturally it just has to be available in the game as if it was standard issue.

It can't be a Dinner Plate 28, it doesn't have a barrel shroud, the gas piston tube is too long and the stock doesn't swoosh up. The hand guard (?) is making me think it is some kind of experimental RPD that the soviets probably testing near the end of the war.

The magazine could be explained by it being the RP-46 variant but that came post WW2.
Something I wouldn't put past CoD.
