Recent acquisitions thread.
Just picked this beauty up off of GB, snagged a set of Plastic grips for $35, parts kit for $25, an extra SS mag for $69 and a (L?)BNIB standard mag for $42.
Date Code is AA, so that is 2000.
She's a bit scratched up, was dirty as fuck, but dear god this is my first steel framed pistol that isn't rimfire and I am in love. It is also my first DA/SA, as I have a Ruger Mk2, a DAO P290RS and LCP and everything else is striker-fired.
Let's see what you fucks picked up that has you jonesin' for the weekend.
Internals with slide stop removed for deep cleaning.

Ruger LCP for Size Comparison.
It is bigger than an LC9s, and a P290RS, and is more on par with a 9mm P320SC

Nice pickup OP, .380 is one of my favourite "easy going" calibres - should be nice and comfortable in that steel frame.
Didn't want to detail strip it for dat *real* deep clean?

With all of the little springs and nooks-n-crannies I chose to soak it with Break Free instead. Lazy, yes, but it fixed the gummy internals. My co-worker just bought a Non-SL model, and promptly lost the slide stop spring.
I've taken my LCP down to the steel insert for the Sweet Pea trigger, but this thing is a different ball game.

fair call. The only pistol I've ever detail stripped is a Makarov, and that's like 34 parts or something. It had been in cosmoline so I would never have been satisfied without mineral spirits & wipe of each individual component.
You buy this to carry or just for the love? How is capacity vs LCP? I reckon the LCP would be way less "fun" to shoot.

Sexy pistol

I got it out of love, looking over how finely finished each part was, how smooth and refined it was in operation just drew me to it. I'd love to carry it, but seeing how Sig Sauer of Germany is banned from exporting to the US indefinitely, because of us. I am content with taking it to the range and fiddling with it at home. At some point it will be a Sunday CCW.

Ouch, I know that feel. I just group-bought a few steel surplus AK mags and spent the better part of a slow day at work to clean a dozen or so out.

The 232 holds 7 in the mag, I've already shot an Alloy framed P232 and it is a joy compared to the LCP, even surpassing my 290 and 320 in fun factor. But it being a revision of the 1977 designed 230, and based on the PPK/s, it is as large as my polymer Double stack sub-compacts.

Thanks!
A few days away from picking up a brand new sd9 with 2 spare mags, holster, plus 500 rounds of 9mm for $250
