That typeface is unlike anything I've seen on German equipment (tanks, aircraft, ships, etc.), chances are it's a cheap knockoff, or military inspired gadget. Build quality doesn't seem that great either, nor does it look particularly old.

Noone leaves clocks on a cemetary. But it could be well be marble. This type of clock is a mantelpiece clock. Fairly crude and worn, and could in theory have been rebuilt from something else but I doubt it.

I searched for a while but found nothing. If anything this clock is so old and crude that it may have been made closer to ww1 than ww2. But the intentionally removed text is interesting and I have some theories about that. One is that there was some sort of NSDAP text, but I don't really like that theory becase they would write that on the front, not hide it. Another is that the text was the name of a former owner. Third: if the owner had been on the eastern front the clock could have been war booty. Not a thing you would want the Russian occupants to see when it was their turn to go house visits.
