Probably as good as an Indian tank, a glorified squirt gun. Indian tanks suck because youre carrying 5 gallons of water (8 lb x 5 gal = 40 lb) sloshing around on your back that has a weaker stream than a 60yo with a bad prostrate.
Flamethrowers work in dugouts and bunkers not by their burning fuel igniting people but the flames using up all the oxygen and asphyxiation killing.
