All things considered the movie was actually surprisingly accurate with its guns. I wasn't paying full autistic attention but I couldn't catch any faults. Even the Germans having British tanks was okay, as most of Germany's armor was captured. (They only built 20 A7V's.)

He's also not a soldier fighting in the trenches, he's an arms smuggler. All things considered, he's going to be avoiding fights, so he's likely not going to come up against a machine gun nest or very many people carrying SMGs or anything.

He's likely only going to be fighting against people armed with bolt action rifles, so his rate of fire is actually going to be pretty great. His accuracy is going to be good, he's going to be good in short and medium ranges.

The only real downside to his 1866 is that it's rimfire, but the 1866 was used in several large scale engagements and inflicted heavy casualties.

This is WW1, the majority weapons were bolt action rifles with a 5 round capacity. A lever gun would have had better capacity and a better rate of fire. Also, he was a smuggler, not a soldier.

Well, WW is wearing red a red/blue armor which was designed by Hephaestus after an American pilot crashed and he wanted to craft something in honor of his heroism. And given that this supposedly takes place in WW1, there prolly weren't a lot of American pilots in the area around Greece.
