Opinions on gun hangers?

If they're polymer coated, they're fine. I think they're a bit weird, but up to you. Make sure nothing flakes off and creates a barrel obstruction though.

Do I even want to know how much they're charging for poly coated shop hooks now because they put "gun" in the title. It doesn't look like anything is wrong with the idea but why do I need that many guns hanging off a shelf?

I could see hanging it with one in the chamber being a problem, but short of snapping the whole hanger off into the barrel and pulling the trigger I'm not sure what could cause a significant obstruction

Seems kinda gay. Just buy or make a handgun rack

I'm considering getting some of these. It makes sense because my safe and the two shelves are filled to the brim, this would let me get some more of my pistols in there.
