Why does Cold Steel get so much hate?

For the exact same reasons as when you posted the exact same question three days ago.

They started out as kindof a gimmicky cheapo company that people dindt take seriously

But today theyre generally just selling overpriced factory made stuff that is targetted at people who really dont understand what theyre looking for. Other companies make the same products with better steel and better mechanical parts for less, cold steel mass produces all the wonky obsolete designs that other companies dont but thats about it.

You cant buy a bechmade chinese war sword, but benchmade working knife folders are probably the better money spent

They're also known for taking credit for designs that other people did first, inane lawsuits, and generally acting like the guy wearing a Tapout shirt at the bar who's never actually been in a fight.
