I was thinking about one day(sometime in the far future) being able to easily build full-size accurate replicas of WW2 aircraft once such manufacturing tech becomes available and cheap enough to make it feasible.

Good luck, but the market is tiny.
Most people looking to buy millitary aircraft want the real thing.
They are also few and far between.
But, there are two WWII planes still in quasi production. The piper cub and the storch.
The storch (besides a small production run in the 70s) is only built at a 3/4 scale
