You bet your sweet ass we can
Anyone ever built a ump from a cut receiver? Found one that was clean cut with a band saw in two and I can get a parts kit.
>tfw no mp5k in 10mm
it hurts
>>34226937
one day I'll get my hands on one
>>34226924
That's how I want to set up my next MP5. I'll have to put a Z5RS on layaway soon.
I find these integrated light handguards aesthetic as fuck.
The Omega 9 MP5 pistol from atlantic, yay or nay?
I need something with the wide handguard and that I can put a stock on later after I get my paperwork back.
>>34226963
They're very sexy. When I get my full size MP5 project started I'll have a wide hg, a flashlight hg, a fixed stock, and a collapsable stock. All that will probably cost me as much as the gun itself lol but it'd be worth it.
>>34226982
They're not bad, but I'd rather have a Zenith/MKE
how does this make you feel
>>34227091
Gud.
I'm going to have sexual thoughts about this thread later.

It makes my wee wee all tingly

by all that's holy this made my dick titanium
Did anyone here build their MP5 from a parts kit? Did you buy the receiver pre-bent & welded if needed? How much did it cost?
I just finished building my Uzi from a parts kit and it came out to around $550 in total due to a couple of great deals from Gunbroker. I could easily sell it for $1K and start an MP5 build but I'll ask you guys first.

Not so fast

Are they OM9s and MKE clones all parts interchangeable with HK original parts?
>>34226787

???
???
Time to moisten some panties
>>34226787
Ayyyy
>>34227229
I'm doing this right now. I bought a nice parts kit ($1650), a flat and weld kit ($200) and then I sent it off to Ghillebear from the HKpro forums ($800-1000 depending on options). That's unfortunately the low end of the spectrum for builder costs (but still highly regarded).
remembering the time that guy from /mu/ inherited an mp5k

die hard 2 called
yes please

I'm thinking of getting an Omega MP5 clone, what's the quality difference between them and MKE? I personally don't give a shit about politics but I also don't know about Turk quality. I also saw something about Omegas being able to take full-retard sears, not that it's relevant for much.
As a more general question, what do you all think would be a smarter buy, this carbine with a pinned fake suppressor, or a MP5 pistol with a brace?
I'll probably want to SBR it in the future though I don't know when, and I'd like to be able to suppress it if I ever get a can. But until then, what would make for more fun, the ability to mount a foregrip and use a proper stock, or the ability to put something on the muzzle or have a more compact package?
Why would you ever buy a semi-auto mp5 over a carbine like the Beretta Cx4?
>>34229725
Because it's an MP5
>>34229697
>omega
Better make sure your will is up to date
>>34230274
What's wrong with them?
>>34230308
Latest company in a long history of shitty companies from a retarded guy
>>34230319
What brands would you recommend under $2.5k then? I'm only aware of POF and MKE. I saw Brethren going for a similar price but the welded rail activates my almonds.
>>34230349
POF isnt imported anymore (for now)
MKE is okay but >turks
Bretheren is good, you can get them without rails
>ywn have a FA MP5 10MM
Just end it

Thanks pal, I'll keep an eye on the Bretheren ones then since MKEs look to come in pretty regularly.
How much are giggle switch trigger packs? And can you swap with G3/MP5's?
Z5-RS from MKE. going strong after 700 rounds so far. about 3 months in for the form 1 sbr
