Are frag round destructive devices? They really can't have more than a quarter ounce of explosive in them, especially the ap version. Could I BTFO the ATF an start a company to make something similar and sell them to civilians?
They use c4, right?
They have no "sporting purpose"
So the ATF would just wreck your butthole

It's not a destructive device. They can't do shit.
What are they gonna do? Ban all shotguns? You can't ban specific ammo unless it's 1 a destructive device containing more than .25 ounces of explosives or 2 armor piercing pistol ammo.

How much money do you have to blow fighting the ATF in court for the next 20 years?
>>34226597
They can fight all they want, literally no law would be broken.

>You can't ban specific ammo unless it's 1 a destructive device containing more than .25 ounces of explosives or 2 armor piercing pistol ammo.
Says who? The ATF can ban whatever the fuck they want. Unless you're ready to explain why the semi auto USAS-12 is a destructive device but a Saiga is just a shotgun.
The ATF would just say that explosive projectiles, no matter what the specific type or weight of explosive material, has no sporting purpose.

Again, needs more than .25 ounces of explosive.
That is the definition of a destructive device, if it doesn't have that it's not a destructive device.

>That is the definition of a destructive device, if it doesn't have that it's not a destructive device.
Oh, I guess your right. You should go for it then. What state are you in? I want to know what shipping costs will be like once you get up and running
If it's not illegal now, it soon would be. Remember when Glaser ammo was banned purely on the basis of its own marketing hype?

This anon is right you think you're getting over on them because of a technicality but you're forgetting the govt can change the rules at any time
>>34226706
He will get up and running just like Pepe liberator, you dumb fucking nigger
>>34226632
>thinking the ATF cares
>>34226525
>They really can't have more than a quarter ounce of explosive in them, especially the ap version.
>make two of them
>now have 1/2oz of explosives in a non ATF approved magazine
>>34226651
ATF had nothing to do with the USAS-12/Street Sweeper/Rotary Shotgun ruling. That was the Treasury Department.
>>34228279
>>34226651
It was brought about by Brady lobbying at that.
>>34226632
>YOU can fight all YOU want
fixed. im willing to bet the atf has more financial resources that you anon.
>>34226525
Produce them where they need to be opened up, loaded with a primer and a harmless powder.
When fired, the primer would blow on impact, sending out the powder, letting you see where the hit was.
>>34226579
better to just be safe instead of become case law. like other anons said, you more than likely don't have the funds to fight the atf
>>34226555
the whole "sporting purpose" comes from the GCA where guns being imported must have a sporting purpose.
Current ATF guidelines consider anything less that 20mm small arms ammunition. anything over 20mm that is not a flare, smoke or fireworks are considered a destructive device.

Maybe read the laws. The NFA declared any weapon over 50 cal. to be a DD except those suitable for sporting purposes.
