/k/ related plants itt, whether healing or weaponized let's discuss our rooted counterparts that so often only see the bottoms of our boots
Starting us of with Yarrow. Yarrow is a powerful antistyptic (stops up bleeding) that can be applied as is under bandages to stops bleeding. It can also be put into powder forms and tinctures and has other healing properties when used in these latter manners

(in case id is different, botanyfag here)

>Castor
Seconded, though you'll fuck yourself up sooner than you'll fuck anyone else up, if you do it right it'll go through a high-efficiency filter.
Also, datura/brugmansia (dat devil's breath), foxglove, tobacco (is used sometimes for tranquilizing animals and nicotine is more deadly than potassium cyanide iirc), lots of shit that's less deadly but there's the worst common stuff.
>>34225777
>coca
Not too common unless you're in columbia or know other botanists, kek. Not worth doing for powder, but you can buy coca tea on amazon, and it's real/has cocaine in it regardless of what plebs say, it just takes a fuckton to make any coke.

>fruit bearing plants that grow without attention
Depends on for what purpose you're talking about, if you're talking for prep purposes/max calories+vitamins per acre, I'll list a few off the top of my head, some of which aren't "fruits".

Persimmons (jap and american, get the named variety of american if possible since no seeds and no male needed), anything in the blueberry tribe you think you can hide, mulberries (nobody picks those), the best for calories per acre is the dunstan chestnut (this is the prep/foodplot tree, they sell em in walmart sometimes), crabapples make delicious hard cider (dat malo-lactic fermentation) and nobody eats em, for blackberry-alikes try "dewberries", like blackberries but small, for peach tribe try wild black cherries (prunus serotina, fuck anyone who says they aren't delicious- 1 out of 5 trees are great) or prunus angustifolia or prunus americana, quince, medlar, for serious prep shit try groundnut (apios americana I think) or oca (oxalis tuberosa), if you wanna be a troll try chufa since it's an edible variety of a weed that can't be killed with normal weedkiller, hickories make good nuts (but take a vice to crack), for caffeine try ilex vomicoria and ignore the vomit-sounding name- they drink it in south carolina and is related to yerba mate
>>
>>34225780
Goji berries are a weed, poke salad is a weed and is delicious (don't parboil before june unless you're a cuck), rumex acetosa looks like a weed (forget the common name, makes a sour sauce for fish or put sparingly in salads), try fucked up varieties of common vegetables like lemon cucumbers which grow the best but look retarded, or like lycopersicon pimpinellifolium, the pimp tomato that once you plant will always exist from reseeding, is the best cherry tomato, and cucks all other tomatoes since it has long anthers and pollinates everything like fuck, and don't ever forget the lowly potato- there's a reason potatoniggers grew so much- the most calories per acre, can be made into vodka, and if there's a war and everything gets burned, the potatoes are still there.

>>34225813
Theoretically, only really interested in natsoc folks, email me at (the state above georgia) @ i2pmail dot org, also I can do consultation for prepping folks for a fee or not depending on how loaded you are and how much work you want me to put into it.

Without knowing climate and growing area?

Jujube produce a lot of fruit, are drought and cold tolerant, and store very well.

Figs are pretty good with neglect but need to be dried or preserved in other ways as they don't last too long off after ripening.

Wild grapes are hardy as fuck and edible. Can be made into wine just fine.

Pomegranate takes neglect and drought well.

Some people have decent luck with blueberries but I just can't keep the fuckers going in my area.

Try Prickly Pears / Opuntia. Most cactus fruits are edible but young opuntia pads can be cooked and eaten as greens. Whether its the fruit (tuna) or pad (nopales) just be sure to singe off the small hairlike spines (glochids) with fire before you eat.

It's used in the medical field as digoxin, a tricky heart medication. Very fine line between helping and hurting. Used in very small (micrograms, not milligrams) doses, it'll help with A-Fib and heart failure. If you cross the line, you're gonna have a really fucking bad time. It's a favorite of poisoners and assassins for a reason.

>grows like a weed. GET IT? :D

Medicinal / Recreational Cannabis
>anti inflammatory
>extremely effective non-addictive pain killer
>sleep aid
>kills cancer cells
>treats / prevents glaucoma
>helps control epileptic seizures
>slows the progression of alzheimer's
>treats inflammatory bowel diseases like crohn's
>helps maintain your metabolism
>increases creativity (inb4 just a meme)
>controls tremors from parkinson's
>alleviates the symptoms of PTSD
>can protect the brain after a stroke, and possibly other traumas such as concussions
>eliminates nightmares
>makes chemo not so fucking awful
>many people have reported weed has helped them cut back/quit booze
>it makes things funny
>it makes you good at video games, the so-called "Weed Hacks"
>no risk of physical addiction, slight-medium risk for psychological addiction (depends on type of personality)
>physically impossible to OD on, user will fall asleep long LONG before they come anywhere close to OD level

There's a reason why cannabis is classified as a super-crop. A couple ounces of weed in an airtight container is medicine #1 in my camping first aid kit. And after ripping my kneecap off it's the only thing that acts fast enough, is strong enough, and doesn't leave me feeling like I "need" a larger dose every time, like some of the scripts my doctor put me on.

Wow you're right, how could I be so blind to the lies of pier reviewed scientific journals and the scientific method as a whole.
>>
>>34232612
If you bothered actually reading them they essentially say it doesn't make it worse, the 'shrinking tumor' crap comes from a retard's understanding of vasoconstriction and smoke.

I don't care if dope gets legalized, I prefer it did so people finally stop hyping it.

People like yourself think because it helps with creaky joints you can tell cancer patients it's going to cure them, may as well tell them to bathe in the Ganges and say three hail marys.

OG botany fag here taking an "OH SHIT IT'S RAINING" break from my humble farmwork.

>>34229786
Seconded, I tried to be universal since I don't know where he is, and a lot of those you recommended are my favs but are southern things.

>jujube
Great yields, I dislike them fresh (like a mediocre apple) but turn date-ish dried, figs always kick ass if you're in the south, pomegranates plant russian/slav varieties instead of "Wonderful" if you aren't in california, blueberries are ericoid which means they have symbiotic fungi instead of root hairs and need acid soil- the trick is to make sure your soil is around pH 5.5 and steal some soil from around "good" blueberries as the ericoid fungus doesn't into nurseries.

>opuntia
Get burbank's spineless if possible, otherwise seconded.

>>34230961

Depends on if topical or internal, it's styptic but the medical properties taken internally do expand blood vessels.

>>34232306
True, but that's all fruit- snake boots are a man's best friend, along with possibly a fuddy five or meme-taurus-judge with rat shot.

>>34232723
I'd grow citrus honestly, literally everything would tolerate the chill since it never actually freezes IIRC, that or tomatoes, or herbs.

>>34232973
Think common-ish, apples/pears/quince/medlar/mulberries, vitis labrusca grapes, blueberries, etc.

>>34233436
Topically, dock, yarrow, basically anything tannic- internally, datura VERY VERY CAREFULLY YOU FUCKS, DON'T OVERUSE!!!!!
