Somebody told me about a Batman story where the Joker painted the tip of his gun orange to look like a toy because he thought it was funny.
I know that toy manufacturers are required to mark toy guns with the orange tips, but is there actually a law against painting one on a real gun?

Sounds like a bad idea, but tell me, who is this semen demon?

Are you blind? It's .45 ACP clearly.

Kek
So tell me, is 45 ACP the manifacturer or model?

>who is this semen demon
Spartan STS-6 Xcelerator. Not an airsoft guy, don't know why they emailed me an ad but it made me wonder about the orange tip on real guns.
A bad idea, maybe, but is it illegal?

It's an ACP Model 45 in 11.43×23mm.

As far as I know it's not illegal. I don't think Joker's thr first one to say "lol just make it look like a toy." Problem is, even with the orange tip, if you point it at a cop, they're probably going to shoot you.

Why would you assume i intend to point it at my lawful protectors?
If memory serves, there is a law against it. Something along the lines of disguising a weapon as something else. Same reason cane guns and similar are illegal.

So it might become an AOW?
