Those holes could have been caused by anything. I was practicing with a foil against my wall (back when I fenced in college) and one time it didn't bend and it punched a hole that looks just like the ones in the picture. Not saying you used a foil (or even an epee), but those holes could have been made by anything. If you don't have holes coming into the house from the outside, perhaps your brother is punching holes with something. Hell, he could be using a ball point pen or even his needle dick for all you know.
