Thinking of picking up an AND 65, curious as to a few things.

Can I get the barrel treated to be long lasting? The AMD 65 doesn't have a chrome barrel.

Whats a good optic? I was thinking of getting a hi-lux CMR 1-4x24 or a 3x prism scope from PA, I'll be using this optic to shoot a maximum of 300m but probably most of the use will be within 25m.

If I get rid of the handguard retainer what is a good option for a handguard besides the zhukov forearm?

AMD-65s don't have an optics rail and wire stocks suck ass.

You can't treat the barrel to last any longer at this point.
