Glock 42, Bersa Thunder, Sig P238, Ruger LC380, Beretta 85 or Kahr CW380 if you can stand DAO are all good value for money.

Walther PPK/s, Beretta 84, Colt Mustang and CZ83 are all great too but are not a good value for money cuz they cost too much.

Then there are others I'm suspicious of like S&W Bodyguard, Remington RM380, Kel-tec P3AT, Walther PK380, Taurus 730, Taurus Curve (lol), Kimber Micro and Diamondback DB380.

But it's real hard to beat the sub-$250 Makarovs and CZ82s. Those aren't .380 tho, and aren't as pleasant to shoot.

Also I prefer regular 9mm because muh proven holla tip cop killas.

You could just get an expanse model, no chromed lined barrel and other negligible features from the 6920 removed for 699.

Also you could get lucky with the expanse and end up with a surplus 14.5 SOCOM barrel and that's worth a fair bit for a barrel

So what's the deal with pencil barrels? How bad does the profile actually effect accuracy?

Was wanting to go with a lightweight upper for hunting pig, coyote, rabbit, and whatnot and the pencil barrels are a full half pound lighter than a standard profile barrel all other factors being equal. Id be walking with the rifle for hours at a time through brush, but would also like to be able to reach out to say 200 yards across a pasture consistently and accurately.

I'm probably overthinking it, but I figure yall would know or be able to point me in the direction of someone who does. Im looking at Aeros m4e1 uppers for those that are curious (barrels made by ballistic advantage).
