I run a Browning Citori and Consistently shoot 23-25.
Be sure to try all of the different shotgun sports. Doubles, Sporting clays, skeet...

Ive tried it a few times. But mainly I shoot sporting clays. I know it's supposed to be harder, but I'm WAY better at it. I think the predictability of trap fucks with my brain.

I love to shoot trap. I don't do it as much as I would like to, but I love shooting my dad's Remington 1100 autoloaders he got when he was young. They shoot like a dream to this day.

Sounds like you improved quickly and will probably start out doing pretty ok again now that you have the hang of it.
I was too busy doing farmwork the last two weeks, but I get out weekly and do 2-4rounds of trap/skeet depending on what members feel like doing more at any given time.
I've done some sporting clays too, and that's even more fun.

It's not like you have to use any certain shotgun, even if the infographic's suggestion probably is ideal. Use what you enjoy most IMO though, that alone adds fun. I get pretty consistent 23/25's using a vepr12 for both trap and skeet. I just throw on a choke for trap since the clays are usually further out when you shoot at them.

It's pretty trying to throw a clay out with your dominant hand and bring your shotgun to bear from waist level and still hit the target. Definitely has improved my bird hunting game.

I just finished a 10 week league. shot 23/25 and 25/25 tonight. Been shooting for 2 years with a 26" Benelli Nova. Been looking at getting a real trap gun.
