In case you didn't notice, competition is supposed to advance the art. There's no irony, there's no theft, you're just noticing what has been obvious to everyone else from day one.

Rowland is a fucking imbecile who NDd while drunk handling his glock into a relatives leg. Putting a light, dot sight and compensator onto a block doesn't need to immediately become some guys "special."

Are you referring to 9x25 Dillon or just not USPSA? Almost all the top race guns are 40sw

It is, but for meeting USPS major, it's what most people use. To load 9x19 into major power factor you're looking at kabooms. Now I've got a 2011 race gun in 40 and a G20 in 10mm (but shoot 40). Still like 9mm more, to be honest.

Obviously slide cuts and giant red dots on handguns don't make sense but stuff like a flared magwell and stippling makes sense to me if price is no object

red dots actually make a lot of sense, but the tech needs to get a lot more mature before it will be reliable for daily carry, for most people.

If you're willing to work around a few quirks, red dots on handgats are great for daily carry now.

My favorite LGS monkeys all carry with some form of red dot or holo optic.

oh yeah, forgot to add my Limited blaster.

i've been meaning to get a Production Unicorn gun (P320 X-5? Stock II?) too since 9mm is cheap, and since i don't reload it's annoying having your gun choke on SAAMI-spec OAL .40. leaning toward the P320 since i like my full size.

You're an idiot. Rowland is a 460 or 960 pistol round and Roland is not any top dog, you could build that yourself cheaper. Not even close to zev or non glock platforms.

that article makes no fucking sense, slide travel is based on cartridge length. the slide will cycle faster since it's lighter than a 34/17's, but those are two different measurements.
