Any advice for re-finishing or removing scratches or scuff marks?

just spray all over the gun. That way when you choke start your gun you wont get paint poisoning

I've already refinished my 1911 due to wear.

Sent it off to Robar to get their nickel coating applied to the slide and the polymer finish to the frame.

Apparently they have trouble telling which parts belong to which customer and so they decided to use a dremel or whatever to scribe the serial number along that ridge that runs right down the middle of the inside of the slide.

So far I'm not feeling a real difference or detriment to the firearm, but if I knew they would this I wouldn't have sent it in.
