It's really not.

Having to reach over/under to charge it, avoiding any options or under-barrel attachments, or even taking your dominant hand off the gun to reach for the CH is not "friendly".

Then there's the brass and gas that will inevitably hit you in the face, unless you spend time and money converting it.
Good luck using an AUG that isn't specifically converted for you with any level of comfort.
