question for you people who carry alot

do you have a backup carry gun ? is the same make caliber as your primary carry gun ?

asking because i'm starting this & advice seems to be to have 2 of same gun because if you get involved in some incident then police will take your gun for evidence & don't want to switch to different carry gun under that stress

makes perfect logical sense, but seems very autismo to me. I would just buy another gun in the same caliber that's similar in terms of the types of safeties and such so you still have some muscle memory. ie not having your primary being a glock and your emergency spare being a beretta with slide mounted safety. If you really wanted you could get an identical spare i just like variety.

i have now replaced wallet with a minimalist one that holds a few cards. anyone have any recommendations on knives? Thinking about getting a benchmade mini griptillian but open to suggestions.

I just carry a back up mag, seeing as the biggest malfunction is usually magazine related. 31 rounds can't solve the issue, then some thing is terribly wrong.

Anyone carry a USPc/P2000? I'm thinking about retiring my Hi Power, since I was offered a decent deal on a V1 9mm P2000. My main issue is the unavailability of flush-fitting 13 round mags. I may just try to shave down the pinky extensions.

You ever photocopy a photocopy? Those SDs are like a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy of a Glock. They also made it as cheaply as possible. I have a Sigma which is the earlier version of that gun. The only reason I bought it was because it was only $150 and it came with a $100 set of night sights. Seriously. It's that bad. I suppose it is better than NO gun, but you should spend a little more on a new Glock (or similar) or spend the same on a police trade in Glock.

Those knives were such a great deal on Amazon for 50 USD. USA made, Full Teng D2 steel, it's a shame they stopped making 'em altogether. My only gripe was they only had the Tanto and not drop point.
