I don't know how effective they are, but I know that they are annoying as fuck to put up and strike down. Keeps the sun off you pretty well though. Fuck I can smell the nets now even though it's been years.

Dank really is the best way to describe it, metallic and wet and rubbery smell. Comes off on your hands when you roll them up in the motor pool.
