You got me on the blue state thing. I read recently a list of top cities that millennials are moving to, VA beach was #1 and Richmond was #2.


Honestly VA is better than it gets credit for. There aren't many restrictions in terms "assault weapons", mag capacity, or NFA. No waiting periods and no background checks for private sales. It really is a good state to live in for gun enthusiasts.

Not Constitional carry, doesn't have the best reciprocity, there is a weird 20 round capacity max for open carry of rifles (just rifles) unless you have a concealed carry license, but you can own whatever you want.

No registry, except for some NFA things.
