The front well is actually just a spare magazine holder. Ammo is fed exclusively from the rear magazine.

It's a very niche gun, but depending on your terrain and game it might be pretty cool. I want one but it's hard to justify a bolt action precision rifle in .300 bulk when you're not a police sniper.

are custom 700 builds worth it?

looking at some other manufacturers, it looks like you can go all "ar15 buy more in accessories and attachments than on the actual gun itself" or you could just buy a bolt action gun that has all the features you want off the shelf

That rifle makes no sense to me in 300blk. If you want a subsonic sniper, why not use a cartridge like 338 lapua or 308 subsonic loads to maintain long range capabilities.

The idea behind it is retard tier quiet. Like I said, its fills a very narrow niche, but a cool one nonetheless. I read somewhere that a LEO marksman's engagement range averages to around 60m so .300 blk isn't a horrible choice given its intended purpose.

Ar is also semi auto. That brass catcher makes me think that gun has a very different purpose then Leo.
