Just bought this. Overall thoughts?
>S&W M&P 2.0
>.45
>Full size
I really like the feel of the gun and intend to use it primarily for range shooting and home defense.
It definitely feels good in the hand, but I'm not a fan of their triggers. The 2.0 is supposed to be better, but I don't notice enough change to convince me.
That's what I've been told about these guns, but I liked how the trigger feels. I don't like that they took away the beaver tail. Felt better with it.

Do you like how it feels to dry fire, or how it feels with live ammo? It felt and still feels gravely to me. I think it's mostly the trigger safety.

Comparing it to the first model dry firing felt smoother in my opinion. Live rounds was about the same

2.0s have a way better trigger in that it actually resets for once. I haven't encountered a pistol that can match M&P ergos yet.
Also the .45 model is legit one of the softest shooting .45s out there. You're gonna get spoiled
If they would spend the 5 extra minutes rounding and polishing the striker safety plunger, most people's complaints would be addressed but they are cheap and so the trigger is gritty...

Awesome! Looking forward to really breaking this in

Yeah, that usually goes away with a few hundred rounds anyways. M&Ps need a break in

Have fun with it anon, they're awesome pistols
