What happens to all of the shell casings and ammo belt links after a huge firefight in a war zone?
>>34182027
Collected by locals, melted, and sold.
>>34182027
Survivors become brass jews and scrap them.
What did you think? They call a truce and go pick up their spent casings with a broom and a dustpan?
>>34182027
ive seen people scoop them up to sell as scrap.
so mostly that, at least in poor places.

>HOLD FIRE!
>what the fuck? why?
>Do you have any idea how hard it is to find .303 brit brass in Afghanistan, soldier? Have some compassion.
>>34182027
quality brass just laying everywhere does not get ignored. it gets picked up and sold.
probably gets melted into bars and gets sold to the bullet making companies that molds it into new casings.
some get eaten by animals, some blown away and some buried in soil. Those that get buried eventually grow to become an ammo tree and provide us with a bountiful fruit of spam cans.
We leave them. Fuck going back and getting shot over some brass. Not even the chain of command is that stupid
Could I sue the Air Force if spent 30mm casings fall out of the sky and dent my car?
>>34182115
Where the fuck are you driving where that is even remotely a concern?
>>34182096
>tfw no .22lr trees growing all over my backyard
life is suffering
>>34182096
I love this gay earth, sometimes.
