Heirloom thread.
They may not be the prettiest they may not be the most expensive but what are guns with some sentimental value that have been passed down by uncles grandparents or parents?
Pic related could potentially be mine. It is my passed grandfather's 22 H & R revolver .22 cal. (I don't have a picture of it but I believe it's this one I found)
There is one problem which leads me into a question if anyone can help. My grandfather had a girlfriend of over 40 years and they never got married could this legally be passed down to me without needing paperwork for transfer? I live in Pennsylvania if it matters.
My grandmother has some sorta firearm, I don't know specifically what and I've not asked because it seems rude but I'm pretty sure it was my grandfather's sidearm when he was a prison guard, which still doesn't give me much of an idea (it would have been in California in like the 60s/70s) Whatever it is, I hope I get it, it would be painful to see what my libfag parents might do with it

I would probably guess some sort of revolver. But I feel you there I think I'm the only one in my family that would have any appreciation for my grandfather's pistol. Everyone else in my family I believe would either sell it or just throw it in the bottom of a box somewhere.
He actually used to carry it when he worked as armed security and he transferred a lot of money.
I have a lot of heirloom handguns

What is said pistol? And I was assuming it's a revolver as well, I just don't have a better guess than that
